THE FANCIER EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY
The Fancier Educational Society, Thoubal Wangmataba, Manipur, India was registered under the Manipur Society Registration Act 1989 (Manipur act 1 of 1990) bearing its registration no. 381 of 30th day of 2009.
The aims and objectives of The Fancier Educational Society are :
- a :i) To abolish ignorance, illiteracy, inequality and social evils for a developed life/generation in rural/urban areas by various methods of modern education system through establishment of schools, institutions and libraries and to promote technical education such as computer courses, journalism, and various other technical courses to the rural/urban peoples.
- ii) To take up a partner with National and International agencies (Govt. or other agencies) which are interested in the development of Nation in general and state of Manipur in particular and to share information for the welfare of society
- iii) To undertake activities for the promotion of socio-economic change and development for the poor people and families of Manipur.
- iv) To aid and support to the poor needy and suffering humanity specially physically or mentally Handicapped individuals financially or establishing Educational Institutes for old aged persons, orphans, destitute and labourers.
- v) To develop physical and moral characters of youths providing sports, cultural and other welfare programmes for the Integrity of Nation.
- vi) To take special attention for welfare of HIV/AIDs victims as well as the public in general.
- vii) To promote the need of making woman groups so as to identify the status of woman and aware of a nation.
- viii) To take up steps benefiting the people belonging to schedule caste and tribes and other backward classes of the society by implementing hostels, short stay home and rest houses
- ix) To invest Funds of Society from time to time by borrowing and receiving donations, subscription, gifts, in cash or kind from individuals, societies, Government, trust and other agencies from any part of India or the world.
- x) To distribute and offer awards and scholarships to scholars, toppers and rank holders in the field of Education, Sports, Culture and other activities.
b : There shall be no discrimination on the ground of religion, community, caste or class, creed or race in carrying out the aims and objectives of the Society.
The society have been working since 2004 with an ambition for the betterment and welfare of student and public in general. Mainly we are focussing to the education sector like establishing and running of educational institution like The Fancier Higher Secondary School, Thoubal, and The Sofia English School, Thoubal, about 16/20 years back and produces many Toppers/Rank holders in the state examinations conducted by BOSEM and COHSEM and The Fancier Hr.Sec. School secured “2nd Best Science Hr.Sec. School” award in the year 2012, conferred by the Directorate of Education (S), Govt.of Manipur.
But it is unfortunate that many students from the state go outside the state of Manipur to pursue higher technical education resulting in the loss of huge amount of resources of the state and many poor meritorious students cannot effort the financial matters for their further studies in technical courses outside the state of Manipur.
Now our Society is looking ahead with new hopes, aspirations and renewed commitments, we are planning to establish A CAREER ORIENTED LEARNING CENTRE with a joint venture of EDU LIFE INDIA, BENGALURU and PEACE AND FREEDOM ACADEMY GROUP namely JOVIAL CAREER FOUNDATION (JCF) in colaboration with i-30 BLENDED LEARNING GROUP and an Engineering college in the private sector (Self Finance) namely “THE FANCIER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT - FITM” at Thoubal Okram Wangmataba, Thoubal College Road.
